New House - Ashford, Kent

The brief was to obtain a beneficial outline planning approval to build a new house on a garden plot in Ashford.

The design solution was led by two issues:

The need to keep the scale modest led to a dormer solution.

To avoid overlooking the rear gardens of adjoining properties, the first floor was designed so that all of the bedrooms were located to the rear of the house.
